Coaching for Nutrition and Wellbeing

One5 Health is committed to offering lifestyle-focused and preventative healthcare. We provide convenient online or in-person access to nutrition and wellness coaching with our in-house professional coach, Laura Viner, in order to support our patients holistically. Laura has a plethora of information and experience that she can use to assist patients better understand their blood results, make evidence-based dietary adjustments, manage stress, get better sleep, and have more energy.

1-2-1 coaching sessions and programmes

Individualized coaching on nutrition and well-being

A one-time nutrition coaching session costs £60, while a six-session program costs £300. Each session can be conducted in person or electronically and lasts up to an hour. If you have been diagnosed with any of the following conditions, you should consider nutrition and wellness optimization coaching:

  • elevated cholesterol
  • elevated blood pressure
  • Pre-diabetes, diabetes, or issues regulating blood sugar
  • Conditions related to weight or obesity
  • An elevated risk of cardiovascular disease
  • Peri-menopause or menopause
  • PCOS, or polycystic ovarian syndrome
  • Burnout, stress, or anxiety

Health isn't linear and neither is life- there are bumps in the road that we don't see coming, we're unprepared, and often don't have the skills and knowledge to respond effectively.

Anyone who has decided they want to improve their health, either due to test results, advice from a doctor, feeling uncomfortable/unwell, new symptoms, adapting to a new life stage, planning for a life change or bouncing back after injury, illness or surgery. If you've been spending a while saying 'I should…' then coaching will get you to 'I want…'
What is coaching? +
Nutritional and health coaching is establishing a road map, and building a toolkit, for you to get your health to where you want it to be. It offers regular time, support, information and resources to figure out what steps you want to take and make them easily actionable. Nutrition and health coaching is a holistic approach that includes sleep, stress, diet/nutrition, activity and social factors, as these all impact our physiological and mental health.
How does it work? +
Our coaching services aims to be an overwhelming positive experience. Your coach will help you break down your goal into manageable steps, that are aligned to you and your lifestyle, so they feel effortless. To find those satisfying, attainable actions that are specific to you, sessions can touch on motivation, obstacles, self-image and confidence, so you need to be prepared to talk. Coaching offers evidence-based guidance, and accountability, in a non-judgmental environment - you're in the driving seat, but the coach keeps you on track by asking incisive questions, and offering information and resources when you need them.
Can I try a single session to see if this is for me? +
Yes, you can try a session and go from there, however in our experience coaching works best in a regular weekly or fortnightly block of 6 sessions. Each session lasts 30 -45 minutes and can be face to face, or virtual.
What are the results? +
Results vary based on peoples goals, but many people have changed their blood sugar, blood pressure and cholesterol levels, many have established a healthier eating patterns, better relationships with food, lost weight, improved sleep, reduced stress, found exercise they enjoy, reduced anxiety around their health, and found better work/life balance. People are supported to find what works for them, so even at times when there's a bump in the road, they have the confidence and resources to handle it.
